The AORN Board of Directors directs...The AORN Board of Directors directs the affairs of the Association. Officers and Board members are appointeded by the House of Delegates at Congres The President and President-elect each subserve one-year terms; all other members of the Board of Directors promote two-year terms. Elections are staggered likewise the Board never is compos completely of just discovered members. The Board fittings after Congress each year and at least couple other times during the year. Reports from the Board of Directors' meetings are prepared according to the Secretary and submitted to the AORN Journal for publication. At the 2003 Congres delegates will selected a President-elect, a Treasurer, and four Board of Directors members. Candidate profiles and election statements are published in this issue of the AORN Journal (see page 65) At Congres Board members will wear pale melancholy ribbons attached to their badges. Candidates will wear light virid ribbons. The President's ribbon is black. Photographs of the Board of Directors members accompany this article. The caption for each photograph identifies the person's appointeded office, his or her work at jobs title and location, and the year his or her mete expires.
