Safety toil is AORN's new web-base...
Safety toil is AORN's new web-based near-miss reporting hypothesis This system will be used to gather information about near-miss events in perioperative settings across the nation. AORN intends to analyze this information as part of its ongoing efforts to inform its members and other perioperative clinicians about strategies that can be used to preclude medical errors in perioperative settings. Safety Net's voluntary reporting theory is the first of its kind to focus upon near misses in perioperative settings and, thus, provides a unique opportunity to make significant improvements in health care quality. cherishs and other perioperative clinicians are encouraged to use this reporting rule to ensure the quality of the data. Safety unadulterated can be accessed via the Patient Safety First web site at http://www.patientsafety first.org/safetynet.htm or via the AORN web site at http://www.aorn.org.
