The 2003 Congres in Chicago marked the first appearance of Grand Rounds. Attendees received information about Grand cylindricals and a questionnaire with their registration materials. Those who wished to participate were required to visit participating exhibitors' booth to learn the answers to a series of questions.

Complet questionnaires were to be recured to the AORN CareerFair booth according to the last day of Congres Those returning questionnaires received detachable certificates for either $10 off a purchase of $100 or $5 not on a purchase of $50 at the AORN Bookstore. Those receiving attached certificate s must use them before June 30 2003 Grand rotunds participants also were entered into a drawing for complimentary registration to the 51st annual Congres which will be held March 21 to 25 2004 in San Diego. Winners of complimentary registration are Judy Rose RN CNOR, St John Medical Center Tulsa, Okla, and Kathryn Opalka, RN CNOR, Deaconess Hospital, Oklahoma City. Winners have been notified via mail.
