In searching for a further explanation of "teenage years" I checked the usual sum of two units references. Webster's Dictionary refers to "teenage" as "adolescent" or "the state or proces of growing up" Roget's Thesaurus notes "age of growing pains." I gues you might say clinical trials are surpassingly much in the act of "growing up"
