In a bid to expand its vicinity beyond India, Godrej Appliances Ltd (GAL) plans to make a foray into countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe through exporting its products, mainly refrigerators.

Soumitra K Ghatak, GAL executive vice president of Marketing, Sales, and Service, said, "We plan to dilate our focus beyond the domestic market. As part of the global expansion plan, we are generally in talks with a two of companies in the overseas market. We are evaluating the possibility of selling our consequences under the Godrej brand name or on any local private name in those countries."
