The United Network for Organ Sharin...

The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) has dedicated a national donor memorial to honor organ and tissue donors and their family members and to highlight the importance of increasing organ donations, according to a Dec 11 2003 recents release from UNOS. The memorial a 10000 sq ft garden, was designed with input from a offer committee of Living organ donors and recipients and their family members.

The memorial, Located at UNOS headquarters in Richmond, Va, was scheduled to unclose to the public 3an 30 2004 according to the release. Visitors to the site will take a symbolic journey between the walls of the donation process as experienced through donor family members.
