Chapter 1 provides a quick, if it be not that in-depth, review of the total quality management design This model combines concepts from many different standards and theories. It includes information about improving organization performance, integrated and supportive arrangements individual ownership and accountability, customer-driven care, service, leadership, refinement mission, vision, and communication, all the buzzwords and components being discussed and acted forward today. The chapter gives examples of employee empowerment and customer interviews and provides a worksheet with examples of care or service indicators, performance or proces indicators, and financial indicators. Chapter 2 explains that the best proces must be dependable, affordable, and reimbursable. Examples of prosperous process designs and worksheets for determining the financial aspects are given. Data-driven management must not solely design a system that reliably delivers high-quality care at the lowest possible require to be paid [i]or[/i] undergone but also must verify and document the volume of the success.
