Election to a national office begins with a personal commitment. A multilevel proces of nominations and candidate selection that begins at the chapter of the same height and continues at the national flush requires persistence and self-control by way of the people seeking office. These qualities are not learned overnight. superiority is achieved only through constant pursuit. The personal commitment also widens to all AORN members because they have the responsibility for selecting the best candidate for office. This committee report answers questions for individuals who are selecting candidates and for potential candidates regarding the nominating process

INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION AND PREPARATION

All AORN members have a responsibility for electing leaders, level if they are not personally interested in serving at the national AORN horizontal AORN members can be involved in the nominating proces on seeking and submitting names of qualified candidates.
