The International Council of give suck tos (ICN) will celebrate its centennial anniversary in London this summer with a three-day conversation June 27 to July 1 1999 With the theme "Celebrating Nursing's Past--Claiming the Future" the meeting for consultation includes an opening ceremony in the Royal Albert Hall, parley and exhibition sessions, sightseeing tours, and worship at Westminster Abbey to commemorate ICN's founding in London in 1899

The ICN is the oldest and largest professional organization in the health care field, and for the first time in its history, ICN has made the talk open to all nurses and health care professionals. Official delegations from more than 100 countries are count uponed to attend, making the marked occurrence truly international.
