Hennage assumed his modern post on Jan 1, 1999 According to the release, Dr Hennage brings to ANA more than 25 years' experience in leadership parts with a variety of nonprofit organizations.

principally recently a principal in the Washington, DC-based consulting firm The Assessment collection Dr Hennage also served as executive director and chief executive officer of the Optical Society of America from 1993 to 1997 Dr Hennage's other past positions include director of finance and administration and chief financial officer at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeon and adjunct member of the faculty of the health care practitioner program at Indiana University, where he collaboratively established a succor practitioner program.
