Jeanne E Hately, RN MSN CNOR, has been named the just discovered clinical editor of the publications department of AORN. In her fresh role, Hately will focus onward the clinical content of all of AORN's publications, including the AORN Journal, Surgical Services Management, and the specialty assembly newsletters

Hately take rises to AORN from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, where she was the neurosurgery cherish manager. While there she also serv as supervisor of the education department, surgical services. Before working at Wright Patterson, she was a nourish at the breast manager and critical care instructor at Fairfield Medical Center Lancaster, Ohio, and a perioperative suckle and nursing supervisor at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, Ohio.

Hately says she is pleased to be joining the AORN staff. "I'm looking forward to working behind the sights both for and with perioperative nurses" she says.

Hately earned her bachelor of science in nursing class from Bowling Green (Ohio) State University and her master's of science in nursing measure from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. She is an advanced cardiac life support instructor and basic life support provider for the American Heart Association and a trauma nursing core course instructor for the strait Nurses Association.
