The AORN Journal Writers contend for Awards given at AORN Congres recognize authors for their high quality AORN Journal articles. All Journal articles in clinical, education, management, or research categories that are written during the calendar year preceding AORN Congres are eligible for this award. Each article goe by the agency of two levels of review before being sent to connoisseurs for final selection. Of the 65 feature articles published in 1998 17 qualified for final review.
