The part contains 15 chapters and screens the evolution of legal changes that have occurr especially the changes of the 1990 (eg managed care replacing spread access, fee-for-service care). The authors discuss the opportunities and challenges that these fundamental changes have neared for nurses. Timely topics (eg organization of the health care classification informed consent, the nurse employing relationship, legal aspects of death, principles of civil and tort liability, changing encourage roles) that have presented challenges for the nurture struggling to be a patient advocate and provide patient care in a highly technological society are explored in the book

Easy to read and void of graphics, the main division contains interesting case studies and comprehensively disguises the chapter objectives without being overbearing. I attract favor to that every nurse read this part as it is timely, interesting, and up-to-date and may give feeds a sense of comfort in knowing to what extent and why the legal issues in health care have evolv Additionally, an awareness of the difficulties of resolving legal matters is presented

The main division helps us understand where health care has been, where it is going, and to what extent nurses can prepare themselves for the continued challenge of providing a high on a level of patient care as a patient advocate in an environment of organizational change, financial constraints, and competitive pressures
