The AORN Center for Perioperative Education has evolveed the Perioperative Nursing Course 101 This course is in a scripted, modular format and contains posttest a bibliography, handouts, a glossary of spells required text reading assignments, attract favor toed videotapes, guidelines for preceptors, a final examination, and continuing education contact hours. Visual aids are provided forward CD-ROM. Topics include scrubbing, gowning, and gloving; skin preparation; positioning; sterilization and disinfection; and surgical draping.
