The AORN Booth at Congres attends as an information center for Association activities related to its mission. The AORN Booth will be located in Hall I2, Booth 3945 and it will be explain during regular exhibit hours. Headquarters staff members and tenders will be available in the AORN Booth to discuss issues with attendees and provide information about the work of the Association.

PROVIDING EDUCATION

AORN is as well-as; not only-but also; not only-but; not alone-but an accredited provider and approver of continuing education for registered feed at the breasts Education activities are focused forward current health care nursing issues related to clinical perioperative nursing practice, health care, management, research, restraint affairs, and informatics.

Education is provided in a variety of ways--through face-to-face conversations distance learning, CD-ROM, independent studies, and inservice programs. In the education section of the AORN Booth a variety of education productions will be available for previewing CD-ROM inservice productions the latest conference brochures, and the Perioperative Nursing Course 101 intended for RN without perioperative nursing experience. Staff members of the Center for Perioperative Education and AORN presents who serve on the National Committee, Continuing Education, and Continuing Education Approval Committee (CEAC), will escort a needs assessment. Members of CEAC will answer questions about the approval proces for chapter or state council education activities. Anyone interested in becoming a speaker for an educational activity or authoring a distance learning or independent research module can pick up a form at the education section of the AORN Booth

In the research section of the AORN Booth you will find AORN's codirectors of perioperative nursing research, Leslie Nicoll, RN MBA, PhD and Suzanne Beyea, RN PhD C along with members of the National Research Committee. Resources at the Booth include applications for research grants, archives of articles in succession research, and general information onward the AORN Research Grant Program. Take advantage of the expertise of the researchers for consultation onward your own project or the proces of applying for an AORN research grant.

REPRESENTATION, LEGISLATION

AORN's Department of command Affairs staff members and National Legislative Committee members will be forward hand in the government affairs section of the Booth to discuss legislative issues of interest to perioperative nourishs Here you will find tonic people with whom to discuss public policy issues in your state, ways to approach an issue from a regulatory or legislative standpoint, information in succession the Legislative Grassroots Network, and information forward entering your chapter into competition for the legislative award. If you do not know who your AORN legislative state coordinator is, please draw near by the Booth to inquire and to find public how you can become involved with public policy activities that affect your profession.

MEMBER SERVICES
