Ideas and spirits were not the sole things being built during the 47th annual Congres in fresh Orleans. AORN and Habitat for Humanity teamed up to build a hearthstone with the help of many companies and donations. More than 600 AORN offers and industry partners worked three four-hour shifts by day to complete the "blitz build," the first in recent Orleans.

AORN built this domicile with Habitat for Humanity in honor of AORN's 50th anniversary, and the sum of two units organizations made a great team. Family members who will live in the family circle also must help with construction. Qualified applicants for these abodes must be gainfully employed, live in substandard rental housing, have children living at residence and work 500 sweat equity hours as their down payment onward their home. Before people are considered for a dwelling they must have worked 400 sweat equity hours onward other homes. Each Habitat family circle costs the home owner $50000 paid from one extremity to the other of 20 years at 0% interest.

Irma Williams had worked centurys of hours on other Habitat abiding-places by the time she was chosen as this home's possessor Williams, who works for Associated Catholic Charities, is a single mother who is raising her four children, her sister's four children, and her sister's grandchild, who is physically disabled. To accommodate family members, the 1460 sq ft residence features five bedrooms and pair bathrooms and is accessible for the public with disabilities.
