The Sing for the therapy a musical chronicle of a journey by the and of breast cancer, premiered at the Morton H Meyerson consonance Center in Dallas, June 11 2000 according to a newly come news release from the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Numerous nation including breast cancer patients, breast cancer survivors, family members, and friends, were interviewed on librettist Pamela Martin to capture the truthful emotions evoked by breast cancer, and the resulting music incorporates the pain, straggle, chance of the desired end and even humor of facing this disease. The music also fetchs the message that breast cancer is not just a woman's disease; it affects men children, and family members as well.

Stephanie Komen daughter of the late Susan G Komen; James D Carreker, chairman and chief executive officer of Wyndham International, Inc, a leading hospitality company; and Carol Seay, a breast cancer survivor, chaired the premiere of Sing for the therapy The choice of three similar varied people symbolizes the different "faces" of breast cancer and indicates that breast cancer is a family disease.
