This newly released videotape from AORN is the first in a series called Surgical Focus. It was filmed upon location at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco and moves contemporary information on measuring patient satisfaction, improved OR start times, and managing issues This independent study consists of a 25-minute videotape, a 44-page close attention guide, a facilitator's guide, and a 12 contact hour application. The activity outlines the different symbols of outcomes measures perioperative nourishs should analyze and tools used to identify consequences Different variances related to consequences are discussed, as well as in what manner and what changes were made at Kaiser based in succession their process improvements. The information focus is upon organizational performance issues for the entire perioperative team, and it is clear and easy to run after with sufficient "how to" steps This series is a collaborative effort between AORN and the Stratos Institute for Healthcare Performance.
