The Congres registration form provides an area for individuals to designate their status as chair, delegate, or alternate for their chapters. Chapter leaders should encourage delegates and alternates to register for Congres by way of the early registration deadline (ie, Jan 19 2001) to save cash on the registration fee. Chapters should register alternate delegates before the "Meet the Candidates" session in the way that they will be adequately informed to fulfill their parts as potential delegates. Alternates may be added or mov to delegate status at Congres before the first session of the House of Delegates. At the Dallas 2001 Congres 15 member-at-large delegates will be seated. These delegate seats are reserv for AORN members who do not belong to chapters. First-time attendees should follow to the Congress Orientation Desk located near the foment registration area, to receive their Congres Orientation booklet Members who bring their confirmation literal senses to the desk will receive a released gift. The desk will be staffed upon Saturday, March 10, from noon to 5 PM and upon Sunday, March 11, from 8 AM to 4 PM unless will not be open during General Session times.
