For the past 50 years, the solely treatment available in the United States for vaginitis was vaginal estrogen creams. These creams can be messy uncomfortable, and inconvenient. The newly introduced tablets provide women an effective, clean way to combat vaginitis.

Symptoms of vaginitis include vaginal drynes itching, burning, and painful intercourse. These symptoms can negatively affect a woman's sex life and contribute to sexual arousal disorder, which affects approximately 56% of postmenopausal women
