A modern survey shows that low awa...A modern survey shows that low awareness among women of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) a strict form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) may cause needles suffering, according to a Nov 16 2000 novels release from the Society for Women's Health Research. Diagnostic criteria of the disorder emphasize sinked mood, anxiety, mood swings, or irritability. Approximately 5% of American women who have regular menstrual round of yearss suffer from PMDD. Although almost all of those scaned reported experiencing premenstrual symptoms within the past 12 month 45% have not ever discussed PMS with their physicians. Of those who experience mighty or severe symptoms, 27% not at all discussed the symptoms with their physicians, although mostly reported the symptoms interfered with their daily activities. When questioned regarding their reluctance to court treatment, nine out of 10 respondent said they could cope with the question at issues on their own, and one-fourth said they believed their physicians would not take their complaints seriously.
