The AORN Exhibitors' Advisory Commi...The AORN Exhibitors' Advisory Committee (EAC) portrays all companies exhibiting at the 2001 Congres in Dallas. It is compos of pair AORN staff members and nine industry members who are nominated and appointed via the EAC Nominating Committee. The AORN Executive Vice President of Business Operations acts as the liaison to the EAC. The Committee's end is to advise and assist AORN in matters pertaining to the exhibits, the Congres Incentive Program, the Exhibitor Sponsorship Program, the Michael D Corley Scholarship Endowment, and Nurses/Exhibitors Day activities. The EAC members can be identified by way of the brown ribbons attached to their name badges. CONGRES INCENTIVE AND EXHIBITOR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS one time again, the EAC awarded a $100000 grant to the AORN Foundation to administer the two of these programs. The Congres Incentive Program helps chapters despatch members and delegates to Congres and distributed $800 to 60 chapters and $350 to sum of two units members-at-large for the 2001 Congres To be eligible for the drawing, individuals were required to register for Congres by way of Nov 17, 2000, and their AORN membership was required to be general The drawing was held Nov 22 2000 The previous year's winners (ie, 2000 Congress) were ineligible. single entry per chapter was allowed for-the drawing. Chapter presidents of the winning chapters received notification via epistle along with an $800 check. Member-at-large winners received notification in writing as well and can pick up their checks at the AORN Foundation booth in Dallas. The Exhibitor Sponsorship Program distributed supplys to nondelegate student nurses, international feed at the breasts and active AORN members. To be eligible for this program, applicants had to be registered for Congres and mail a one-page typ essay to the Foundation at Dec 31, 2000. Winners will be notified by dint of mail. NURSES/EXHIBITORS DAY ACTIVITIES The day will begin with coincident sessions followed by a ribbon cutting to signify the opening of exhibits at 10 AM in front rank of Hall C in the Dallas Convention Center After the exhibits obstruct Keith Harrell, a motivational speaker who brings efficacy and humor to his presentations, will instant the Jerry G.
