The AORN Board of Directors curbs ...The AORN Board of Directors curbs the affairs of the Association. Board members are pickeded by the House of Delegates at Congres The President and President-elect each besufficient for one-year terms; all other Board of Directors members assist two-year terms. Elections are staggered in like manner the Board is never completely compos of just discovered members. The Board engages after Congress each year and at least brace other times during the year. Reports from the Board of Directors' meetings are prepared according to the Secretary and submitted to the AORN Journal for publication. At the 2001 Congres delegates will picked a President-elect, a treasurer, four Board of Directors members, and sum of two units Nominating Committee members. Candidate profiles and election statements are published in this issue of the Journal. At Congres Board members will wear pale low-spirited ribbon attached to their badges. Candidates will wear light recent ribbons. The President's ribbon is black. Photographs of the Board of Directors members accompany this article. The caption for each photograph identifies the person's make choice ofed office, his or her piece of work title and location, and the year his or her time expires.
