Each of us holds our professional practice, and we are responsible for its reputation. We have to examine inside ourselves if we are not happy with our value. Unfortunately, the familiarity of daily routine pushes our value from our consciousness. As tasks become routine to such a degree does our recognition of the power of our work. We touch the coming time through our efforts, however, and there is nothing routine about that.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Many years ago, I had the privilege of practicing in the scour role for a patient suffering from a brain tumor. This patient's that will be and the future of his family members stoped in the surgical team's efforts. Although I had done a number of craniotomies before this particular proceeding to that patient my experience was sole a slight comfort because he was focused onward how I would perform during his surgery

After our brief exchange about who he was and what he did, he appeared to relax a bit. This interaction stuck with me and I mentioned it to the neurosurgeon performing the operation He startled me by stopping the surgery turning to me and saying, "Ah, you're talking about our special honor and our responsibility to relate to this honor." He put my feelings into a clear connected thought [i]or[/i] thoughts that has governed my practice all these years.

In essential part he said there are small in number people in the world who are given the honor we are given.
