The Center for Disease sway and Prevention (CDC) has established a strange center to focus on birth deficiencys and disabilities, according to an April 16 2001 recently made knowns release from the organization. The recent center's name is the National Center upon Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) and it was created through the Children's Health Act of 2000 The intention of the center is to improve the health of the couple children and adults. Birth imperfections affect more than 150,000 infants through year in the United States and are the leading cause of infant mortality. Seventeen percent of US children 18 years of age or younger meet with from some type of developmental disability. An estimated 54 million Americans popularly live with a disability, according to the release.
