The AORN library is dedicated to meeting your research and education urgencys and is committed to educating perioperative feed at the breasts in the use of information resources. The library work fors AORN members, other health care professionals, Headquarters staff members, close examiners attorneys, and business and industry personnel It is a vital resource for international nursing and surgical information. Library information specialists use an extensive in-house print collection along with a wide variety of online databases and other resources to provide the following services.

* Journal article duplicate service: The library provides single copies of journal articles in compliance with copyright guidelines. AORN member price by article is $8, and nonmember price is $10

Those who search MEDLINE using the National Library of Medicine's PubM or Gateway databases may use the LOANSOME DOC feature to order articles from registering with the AORN library. AORN member price by means of article is $8, and nonmember price is $ l0 Library information specialists can teach you to what degree to search these databases.

* CINAHLdirect service: The CINAHL database is the Cummulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, including SSM Individuals may search the database by the agency of subscribing to CINAHLdirect through the AORN web site. AORN members pay a reduc pay for this service.

* Archives: The library maintains a unique and growing collection of archival materials related to the history of AORN. Donations are welcome and can include surgical equipment or instruments; nursing caps or pins; nursing books; of long date editions of AORN's Standards, commended Practices, and Guidelines' or other AORN publications; labeled photographs; videotapes; and memorabilia.

* Theses collection: The library maintains a collection of theses, dissertations, and research papers related to perioperative nursing. The completed list is available online at http://www .aorn.org/library. Donations to the collection are welcome.
