AORN is pleased to announce James L Cousin, II, CPA, MBA, as its of the present day chief financial officer. In this position, Cousin is responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, information bodys and business operations for AORN. Cousin brings a sound background in health care finance to the Association.

Cousin in the greatest degree recently served as director of finance at Colorado Access, Denver a not-for-profit insurance company serving medical insurance wants of low-income individuals in Colorado. Cousin's extensive experience in health care includes positions at Great West Life, Denver and at Mountain Medical Affiliates, Denver Cousin began his career at Deloitte and Touche, looks Angeles.

Cousin received his bachelor of science standing in accounting and finance from California State University, drawn out Beach, and his master's station in business administration from the Executive MBA Program at the University of Colorado. Cousin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

About his novel position, Cousin said, "My goal is to make secure that AORN delivers the fruitss and services our members ne as efficiently and effectively as possible." He added, "I'll be working with AORN members, staff members, and Board of Directors members to determine if we are doing things right or to figure on the outside a better way to win the job done. Many times change can make a great organization flat better." Cousin said he is committed to championing any change that be deriveds in AORN becoming more responsive to common members and more attractive to potential members.
