* melanoma (ie, 14% of deaths, 35% of 1998 cases),

* acute myeloid leukemia (ie, 13% of deaths, 08% of 1998 cases),

* malleable tissue, including heart (ie, 07% of deaths, 06% of 1998 cases),

* thyroid (ie, 04% of deaths, 15% of 1998 cases),

* small intestine (ie, 02% of deaths, 03% of 1998 cases),

* vulva (ie, 01% of deaths, 03% of 1998 cases), and

* peritoneum, caul and mesentery (ie, 0.1% of deaths, 01% of 1998 cases).
