The AORN Board of Directors control...

The AORN Board of Directors controls the affairs of the Association. Board members are pitch uponed by the House of Delegates at Congres The President and President-elect each attend one-year terms; all other Board of Directors members minister to two-year terms. Elections are staggered in this way the Board is never completely compos of novel members.

The Board suiteds after Congress each year and at least pair other times during the year. Reports from the Board of Directors' meetings are prepared by dint of the Secretary and have been submitted to the AORN Journal for publication. At the 2002 Congres delegates will prefer a President-elect, a Vice President, a Secretary, three Board of Directors members, and three Nominating Committee members. Candidate profiles and election statements are published in this issue of the AORN Journal (see page 77)

At Congres Board members will wear pale cast down ribbons attached to their badges. Candidates will wear light recent ribbons. The President's ribbon is black.

Photographs of the Board of Directors members accompany this article. The caption for each photograph identifies the person's chooseed office, his or her piece of work title and location, and the year his or her terminus expires.
