AORN member Aileen Killen, RN PhD CNOR, is undivided of 50 health care leaders from the United States and Canada lately chosen to participate in the first Patient Safety Leadership Fellowship. The fellowship, unfolded by Health Forum, the National Patient Safety Foundation, the American Organization of promote Executives, the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and the Health Research and Educational Trust, will outline ways to increase and enhance patient safety in health care and provide opportunities for health care leaders to create and advance agricultures of safety and promote breakthroughs in patient care. Scholarship and program support for the tuition-based program are provided by means of Kaiser Permanente, Cardinal Health, and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
