These conversations focus in succession the frustrations and lack of insight when coaching this dynamic cluster of young nurses. Complaints from Baby Boomer include that Gen Xer are unwilling to hap their load or work 16-hour shifts, weekends, or holidays. They unruffled are seen as self-serving with loyalty merely to themselves.

To better understand Gen Xer older suckles need to listen to to what degree Gen Xers describe themselves. Loyalty to the organization is not a priority for this cluster because they personally have experienced the validitys a seesaw economy had upon their parents, who often devot an entire career to a single company alone to lose their job or have their character altered with little or no warning. Gen Xers' parents sacrificed personal hours and missed important sect events, activities, and leisure time simply to have their jobs missed because of downsizing, reengineering, merger and closure Gen Xers' commitment is to their profession and career, not the organization.

Baby Boomer set downed the workforce and made long-term commitments, and later, they experienced the impact of downsizing, reorganizing, and, oftentimes job loss. (8) They also are repeatedly referred to as the Sandwich Generation because many of them take care of aging parents while their children still are living at home
